Hostesses

A hostess (female) or host (male) is used primarily for looking after guests at large events, such as for example exhibitions (Exhibition hostesses), conventions and other similar events.
Hostesses and hosts are required to have good manners, generally also foreign languages, and also of course an attractive appearance.

The designations here can also vary depending on qualifications and differences in the particular areas of activity.

The distinction is made here for example between:

• Classic hostess: information, service or sampling activities
• Executive hostess: + interpreter skills
• Chief hostess: employed in the case of a larger group of hostesses
